I suggested that a relative get her cortisol
tested. The MD, of coarse, gives her a
blood test and everything's fine. A saliva
and urine test would have told her about
all her hormones that fluctuate AM to PM.
She doesn't know it but she experienced what passes for a "checkup" which makes her feel like she did something but did nothing to
see what might be hormonally behind her depression. Is it me or is there something wrong here?
